Get started in a few easy steps:
- Plug in: Plug Teewe into your TV, connect the USB power cable to your Teewe, and plug the other end into a power outlet using the included power adapter (recommended), or into an open USB port on your TV(this might not work with many TV models and hence not recommended).
- Connect: Make sure that you setup the Teewe device with the same wifi network to which your phone is connected.
-
Set up: Download the Teewe app on your smartphone to set up your Teewe.
-
Watch: Watch videos, movies, TV shows and more from your smartphone, tablet or laptop to your TV using the app on your smartphone
To help things go smoothly, make sure you have the following before you purchase Teewe:
- A display device with an HDMI input, for example, a high-definition television (HDTV)
-
Access to an available power outlet or an available (non-service) USB port on your HDMI-enabled display
-
A secure wireless network (make sure you have the wireless network password handy)
- An android or iOS smartphone or tablet
Also make sure that your WiFi router is configured with the following settings:
Security should be - WPA2/PSK
Upnp should be enabled
Router should be configured to 802.11bgn (mixed)
WiFi enhanced mode should be enabled (this is specific to D-Link Routers)
Multicast should be enabled (IGMP V3 if available) or IGMP proxy enabled if you cannot find Multicast
AP isolation should be disabled
WMM enabled (if available)
Please note that Teewe does not support Hidden SSIDs and the router needs to broadcast the network name.
