Teewe needs a WiFi network setup by a WiFi router for smooth operation. The router needs to be Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n compatible. Plug and play WiFi dongles and WiFi hotspots created by Android smart-devices are not recommended, though they are supported.
We have tested Teewe with a number of WiFi routers manufactured by major companies such as D-Link, Netgear, Cisco, Beetel and Binatone and have found it to work with most of them which are currently available in the market. However, there is an off chance that your WiFi router may not be compatible with Teewe. Below are some routers that are incompatible and not recommended for use with the Teewe device:
- TP-LINK TL-WR740N 150Mbps Wireless N Router
- TP-LINK TL-WR720N 150 Mbps Wireless N Router
- D-Link DIR-615 Wireless N 300 Router
- Beetel 450TC1
