Recommended Configuration for D Link DIR 600M Router

(For those familiar with configuring Wi-Fi settings)

 

We recommend that you change the following settings on your WiFi router for a smooth experience while using the Teewe device.

  • Network security should be configured to WPA (TKIP) +WPA2 (AES)
  •  “Enable wireless isolation” checkbox should be unchecked.
  • Multicast should be enabled and set to IGMP V3 if available.
  • WiFi enhanced mode should be enabled.
  • Wireless Modes should be configured to "Mixed 802.11b/g/n” or 802.11n.
  • UPnP should be enabled. UPnP provides compatibility with networking equipment, software and peripherals.
  • WMM should be enabled (if available).
  • Mac Filtering should be disabled.

 

Process to Configure your WiFi Router
(for those new to wifi-settings)

Step: 1 Log in to Admin Settings

Ø Launch internet browser and type on the url address box 192.168.0.1 and press enter.

Ø Type in the following defaults:

User Name: admin

Password: <leave blank>

Step: 2 Setup your WiFi router

Ø Go to Setup menu.

Ø Click on "Manual" Button.

Ø S  Select Wireless Network Mode as “802.11b/g/n.

 

Ø Go to Wireless settings. 

Ø Uncheck “Enable Wireless Isolation” option. 

Ø Select Security option as “WPA-PSK(AES)
